Wow. Michael Crabtree is Amazing.

Holy Freaking Cow.

A few questions about that final touchdown to Crabtree.

1) - How the heck can you run that play with :08 left? The clock could run out! You have to run a shorter route to preserve a chance at a winning FG, right?

2) - How the heck doesn't Texas sit on top of Crabtree?

3) - How does Crabtree not get out of bounds to save the last second?

4) - How do you like college football?

5) - What pick will Crabtree go in the draft this April?

Maybe we should have kept that #1 pick.

So ... are we still going to say, "It's the system," now or will we finally admit these are good players at Tech?

Hey Bevo,
You dipwad a great game is a great game. It had an amazing finish. Go cry to your sorry longhorns who can't push a guy out of bounds who is inches away. Its panty waists like you who can't appreciate a historic game just because it didn't finish the way you wanted.

Always happy when UT loses,
Chris

What the heck was the saftey (#12) doing on that play... why does he take the "under" route when only two places Crabtree can go is (1) up the field or (2) out of bounds? How horrible was the Texas defense on that last drive. Freshman - you have to make that interception on the previous play!!!! It was gift wrapped!!

TX and OU are now in the same boat... great offenses with horrible defenses... they are the Texas Tech of 2002-2007.

I'm still not convinced about Tech, lets see what they do against OSU (next week at home) then OU (Norman)... i'm thinking a payback is due in Norman for last years "official" review debacle.

UT didn't play well at all last night. Colt was off all night and Shipley dropped crucial passes he didn't drop all season. Harrell's success is because of the system. They'll lose one (if not both) games against OSU and dirty OU.

He dreamed it would be. Crabtree is a sophomore by the way.

The real question is why did it take place to begin with. Tech had no business making that drive. Not only should the UT player have caught that interception a play or two earlier, but Mack Brown's ridiculous clock management on UT's final drive is some of the worst coaching I've ever seen at that level. For some reason, he thought it was wise to snap the ball repeatedly with 20-30 seconds left on the playclock, instead of letting more time run off, even though he had timeouts in hand. No excuse.

This Crabtree play should have never happened. What a lucky win. Tech fans, send a thank you letter to Mack.

Bob I didn't know you graduated from Texas Tech!

My alma mater is #2 in the nation. Well, number two in Division II. Go ACU Wildcats!

I'll say it again. Have you been underestimating the value of Tech players? Because the team that won Saturday was better prepared, made fewer penalties and scored more points.

This is interesting since Texas catapulted to the top of the ranks and everyone expected it. Tech slowly climbs and people STILL doubt them. Amazing ...

Must be "the system".
