That is so supremely awesome. From one Little General to another.
Right in the gonads.
So freaking hilarious how he slowly starts crumpling towards the ground. LMAO!!!
You just got Terry'd!
so awesome
I dont know what was funnier... Griffins sheer panic face or Howards shot in the junk. Man I wish the camera would have stayed on him.
More Simmons geniusness:

A few good lines:
"and Nowitzki elevated his play to the point that he's probably the best player alive right now..."
"I don't care if Dallas ended up winning -- that was still one of the defining Dick Bavetta Games of all time. Hold your head up high, Dick. Hold your head up high. Duncan shot about 75 free throws and was allowed to jump over everyone's back on every rebound. You did your job. You still have the touch."
lmao...
There has got to be tape from TNT with a different camera angle watching howard hit the ground.
I can't figure this out. I heard Bob's intro to the show today talking about this (good job 12:47 anonymous for the quick production) and I thought he said that Avery got Howard in the jewels. Watching the video, though, it looks like Avery comes running up, grabs Griffen from behind Howard, and Griffen's left hand gets Howard in the centerleg. Right?
MrSimic,
Watch AJ's right hand for the entire clip....
He looks like Lee Harvey Oswald when he got capped by Jack Ruby. Face wrinkled in pain. Who knew that Avery had that much strength.
from that ESPN article linked a few posts up:
Two classic A-Rod moments from the last 48 hours: The crushing DP with the bases loaded on Sunday night at Shea, followed by the homer in the ninth with the Yanks down by eight runs at Fenway. He's the best. Three separate readers e-mailed me to tell me they won money on the DP, including San Diego's Brad Garey: "I made a $5 bet with my father, father-in-law, and brother-in-law that A-Rod would ground out in an inning-ending double play. They took the bet and, of course, I am now $15 richer." Ladies and gentleman, your 2005 AL MVP!
man does that sum-up A-Fraud or what?
Arthur
To quote the great Tommy Callahan..."That was AWESOME!!" Honestly, what was Avery Johnson doing? And it wouldn't have been as funny if it hadn't had been happy, sweet, good natured Josh Howard! That was hilarious!!!
